I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Ultimately, it came down to which city was easiest to travel to (and therefore attract the most Buffistas), which is why I chose Minneapolis.

Real tough call, though.

When I was consulting to the DOL, I visited Minneapolis 14 times in one year. Thankfully, it has enough to recommend it.

Never been to Madison...which is appealing.

Yeah, but Laura, if you could vote for two and voted for both, they'd still be tied. Hee.

I wouldn't mind Minneapolis, either. I've only been there to do touristy stuff that one Halloween. I've been to Mall of America, once, but that's not really Minneapolis.

Still, come to Madison for the cheese curds!

Cheese curds has a much greater appeal to me than any mall. You would have to drag me kicking and screaming to Mall of America. Mmmmmm cheese curds.

I've been to Mall of America, once, but that's not really Minneapolis.

One of the MN state employees booked me into a hotel right across the street from the MoA, assuming that would be attractive to me. Not at all, really. BUT, it meant handy restaurants, so I went.

Huge disappointment. A huge mall where there are 4 Marshall's and 4 Gaps is not vast, it's redundant.

black coffee:

Madison was $200ish to fly to either NW or Delta.

Minneapolis is a NW hub, which means that more people would have direct flights.

For some odd reason my search results for Minneapolis are much more expensive. Doesn't make sense to me.

Depends where you're flying from, I suppose. Minneapolis is a bit cheaper for me.
