What's the standard procedure for how long we leave polls open? Three days? I can't remember.

VOTE NOW! The poll will stay open until Wednesday at 9PM EST.
(We haven't chosen a date yet--we'll tackle that once we've picked a city.)
KT - is there a seperate link to see the results?
Not unless you sign in as me, I don't think--can I post the tally on the last day, or do we want/need updates? (I've never run a survey before, so I'm a bit clueless. Happy to oblige, though.)
Just curious. I can stand the suspense!!
I just checked back to last year's--looks like we don't normally post results until the end. Maybe it's because of the whole "what if no one votes for my city" thing?
I promise not to stage a pseudicide if no one votes for Houston.
Dana wins.
ETA: In all seriousness, I don't really care if we track results or not--I just don't know if we can change procedure without the dreaded B'craxy. Or if this is a procedure. Or something.
It depends on what polling site gets used - on MrPoll, there's a link to the results on the same page as the poll so anyone can see them. SurveyMonkey looks like they don't release the results until the poll closes.
I'm using SurveyMonkey.
ETA: I just investigated. I can't share results without giving access to my own info unless I upgrade to a pay account, which I'd rather not spend the money to do since it's $19.95/month, $59.85/quarter, or $200/year. I absolutely promise to give a full and truthful account of the results when the poll closes, though!
