I look more rad than Lutheranism

I now have a room at the Stanyan Park hotel on New Year's eve as well.

Lookit alla you speedy planners!

I would be jealous if I didn't dislike NYE so much.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That might make sense. Should I change my room reservation to that Saturday?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So, speaking of New Year's, calling all L.A.-istas: I'm going to be in L.A. and free of my parents from Dec. 29 to Jan. 2. I have no solid plans, but it would be nice to see people.

NoiseDesign has already suggested a Rock Band party.

The status is NOT quo.

It will have to be the 29th or 30th. We leave on the 31st.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

That might make sense. Should I change my room reservation to that Saturday?

I'm still up for some partying on NYE, but brunch on the weekend might also be good for people who can't or don't want to go out that night.

Which is where I've been meaning to announce I'm going for NYE. My brother's fiance is planning to do a Russian-style New Year's. Which I don't know what is, but since it's their biggest holiday, I'm sure will be lavish and fun

so, I don't have any plans for NYE . . .

Okay. I'll keep it the same for now, and we can discuss it more later.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

My brother's fiance is planning to do a Russian-style New Year's.

From what I recall of the one Russian-hosted New Year's I've attended - borscht and vodka. LOTS of vodka. So much vodka.

If I may extrapolate from my time in a former Soviet republic, this is every single holiday. Ever. And lots of the regular days as well.

t waits to see if any Russians pop out to be offended

Let 'em try and deny it.

Also jealous of the Scola and the SF NYE party. Need to uh, win the lottery for all the trips I want to take.

Y'all are reminding me that I need to figure out what I'm doing NYE. My usual partner in crime will be out of town.
