Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That is the right place Anne. I can't wait to see you.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

That's it. It's also just off of Columbus Ave., and the cross street is Union.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Just checking in, if folks are up for Edinburgh Castle tonight...

I was thinking of getting there 6:30ish for beer and fish and chips and conversation before the singing starts. Does that work? Earlier? Later?

Also, the neighborhood is kind of on the border between acceptable and sketchy and parking can sometimes be an issue, so public transit (it's right on the 38 Geary line, 950 Geary between Larkin and Polk), cabs and carpooling are by far the wisest courses of action. Depending on whether or not Hec comes, I've got room for either one or two people in my car, and I'm happy to pick anyone up from anywhere in SF. Just ping me here or at my profile addy or on my cell phone before 6.

'Tis a workin' plan, I think me. Arr or yarr, me hearties?

I am home from New York, where I attended the NCTE conference (big!) and hung out with Trudy on Friday night.

I had a great time, although I was so tired and miserably hungover during the morning part of the conference Sat. I wanted to die. What made me think martinis and tequila was a good idea?

Martinis and tequila?

Exactly.

The sea shanties were fun, and it turns out that the lead lives in my nabe and knows a lot of the same people I do. Small fucking town. Also, awesome times. Thank you, JZ!
