you know, it may be that when I can recognize a Buffista in a photo that doesn't include their head, I may have been hanging around here too much.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
My work calendar just reminded me that lunch plans with vw might be a possibility, though, of course, here it is nearly noon and I'm just looking here for the first time since Friday. Are plans afoot?
Sorry to have missed dinner on Saturday! I hear that... wine came out of Suzi's nose!
I have transferred the dear vw to -t, just a little bit ago so I am not sure where they are. I believe they are just noodling their way around, so no official lunch plans.
Have we made any progress in deciding where to hold this year's F2F?
I ask only because there's a slim chance that, if it's held in Chicago on a different weekend from Kalamazoo, I will be able to schedule my trip back to the states to cover both Kalamazoo and Chicago at the same time, which would be both convenient and awesome.
I can start digging up information on St. Louis. My only concern is that our public transportation, while better than in years past, is kind of meh.
We do, however, have this.
You also have this.
My nephew is getting married in St. Louis in May. Wouldn't that be great if it worked out to be the same weekend, since I should have some free time. Were St. Louis picked, of course.
I can't tell you the numbers , but I think public transportation is less of an issue as long as there enough places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. I've only been to two F2Fs SF and LA so I am not the final arbiter - but If I can eat, I can deal with the other issues. co-ordinating groups to go various places is complex even with public transportation. So the basics within walking distance is good. and no, I have no idea if I can go this year.
dcp, I am quite familiar w/ the Botanical Gardens. It's one of my favorite places on earth.
In re beth's comment, I keep telling people "if you feed them they will come".
