This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Nicole, I think I'm available before 2pm on the 13th. I'm not sure if I'll have to work on the 14th, but I should be able to brunch or lunch or something.

I plan on being in town on the 13th for sure. I can be in town by noon, no problem.

I'm getting the pig!

Oh, yay! And... phew. I checked here last night, didn't see any responses and worried that everyone already had other plans. So, YAY!

I don't think I've seen either of you, aurelia or shrift, since the LA F2F, which feels like a lifetime ago. Too long. Sail, are you staying the whole weekend? We can do another joint b-day venture!

We're (my friend Melissa is traveling with me - total Buffista, she just doesn't know that she's a Buffista yet) staying at the Magnificent Mile Marriott, but I'm sure we can get to wherever is easiest for everyone else to meet up.

My schedule is pretty open. I could do lunch and/or dinner on the 12th, and on the 13th lunch and/or a late-ish dinner (no earlier than 7, 8 would be better).

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

13th is Saturday, right? I'm free whenever that day.

Oh, also, my b-day is October too, so we can make it a three way!

I have an Oct. birthday too! To amend my Saturday availability I should be able to do anything except 2pm - 6pm.

I'm getting the pig!

Woo hoo to the Saturday night birthday bash! I'm up for it. And Melissa's birthday is in October as well, so it can be a five way celebration.

That's a whole lot of celebration.

Ok, taking this to email so as not to hijack the thread. I'll use profile email addresses, so when you get an email from someone with the screen name 'graphicjayde' - it's me. Don't delete!
