That tapas place we went to once was good. Lots of other options, but I'll have to wait until I get home to think about it.
Okay, this is kind of late, but would be great fun with this crew: [link]
I can't believe I looked that up at work. But I know we tried once before and the dates didn't match up.
Oh, brenda, you're so right! That looks like a blast for us.
We can definitely find good food and drink in that area before hand, if we want to hit it. The restaurant at Schuba's comes to mind, but I can think about it and post more. Shrift, Tom, ideas?
I would so be up for that show.
Restaurants in that area that I know of that are good:
Cheap:
Nookie's
Chicago Diner
Penny's Noodles
Las Mananitas
Nohana
Giordano's
Not Cheap:
Jack's
Firefly
Cornelia's
HB...Home Bistro (formerly the Hearty Boys)
Buffy from treehouse here..I hope you don't mind me dropping in since I haven't been on to Buffistas forever due to work, work and..you get the picture--but javachik pointed out to me others from the Buffistas would be in Chicago this weekend. We are catching the Wicked matinee on Sat., but otherwise waiting to hear about gatherings. I will be at the Hard Rock downtown.
Is Wicked sold out?
And Vroom, did you make plans with Anne W yet?

Obviously I won't be there, but there's also the Agave Bar & Grill on 3115 N Lincoln Ave: [link]
Fabulous food and tequila, can get pricey.
Cesar's on 3166 N. Clark St. is much less pricey, good food, has margaritas the size of your head, and is right by the venue: [link]
Leona's is nearby if Italian/pizza are still wanted: [link]
Also very good Moroccan, pretty cheap: [link]
I can vouch for the latter, having eaten there a few times. The fish pastilla is good!
