Shit's all sorts of different now.

I don't know.

And that's the funny thing. If I were just going out every night, I would be wiling to bet nothing would have been said.

As far as he's concerned, until we live somewhere that isn't there, we have no right to sanity.

I mean, I do get it - somewhat. Short of buying groceries once, we haven't contributed to the household. It's not cheap to feed us. I'm pissed off that there's no room for compromise in his eyes. I can't buy two weeks worth of groceries AND take the train to Chicago. That's just madness.

I'm also pissed off because he jumped on my ass because my mom didn't have the balls to say anything to me herself.

We just need to NOT be living there. I told Joe that I didn't care how crappy the neighborhood is, we're moving into one of my bosses apartments until we buy something. I just can't even deal with this shit anymore.

And...er...probably all belongs in LJ or summat. Sorry to bogart the F2F thread. I'll just go piss off now.

Mostly lurking...

Please don't go piss off. You vent, babe. This is frustrating and difficult.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Pshaw, that is hardly the natteriest natter to be nattered in F2F.

I'm disappointed that you can't make it, Aimee, but I also know exactly where you're at when it comes to unexpectedly having to live by your parents' rules again as an adult.

My schedule is pretty slammed until after September, but after that I may try to make it up to A2 for dinner or something and get you guys out of the house for a few hours.

shrift, could you let me know when you do get time to go? I'll see if I can swing a weekend out there, too.

Kristin- Since I never drive this area of Boston, I don't have any directions that wouldn't come from Google Maps. Here's a link to a Google map that points out where the Boston Beerworks is (112 Canal Street) and how to get to Joe Tecce's from there (61 N. Washington Street). Rt. 93 goes right into that area, so it's just a question of getting off at the right exit and finding a place to park.

Also, I mapped driving directions just so you could get a perspective where the 2 places are in relation to each other, but one wouldn't drive to Joe Tecce's from the Beerworks, it's walkable.

shrift, could you let me know when you do get time to go?

Sure! It'll have to be after Labor Day, but after that, my schedule opens up like whoa.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Just a note for future reference, for travel between most midwestern cities, this just can't be beat. It's like that new Columbus airline - the earlier you book, the cheaper it is. Milwaukee to Chicago goes as far down as $1. Chicago to Ann Arbor I think can be $10 or $15.

The status is NOT quo.

Nora, thanks. It all looks good.
