Dollywood might have some entertainment value, but Pigeon Forge is a zoo in the summer. The crowds are awful.

I'm personally not thrilled with the idea of Nashville, because my family is there, and I drive to Nashville frequently. Also, did I mention that my family is there? There is a lot to do, though. It's definitely a car town, so we'd need a hotel downtown or around Vanderbilt/Music Row.

I always love Chicago. I really liked Kansas City, but the last time I was there was for MidAmeriCon. The older fannish types among you can do the math.

Yes. Except we'll tell people it was just one F2F, and when we post photos online we'll use indoor shots from Lawrence and outdoor shots from Vancouver.
