"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So I arrived home safe and sound. Two days of pretty much full-on driving was an interesting (as in the ancient Chinese curse) combination of intense and boring. Among other things, I'd like to know why apparently no one outside of New England knows how to pass an 18-wheeler without taking a week to do so.

Totally fried at this point and going to bed, but wanted to chime in on what a fabulous time I had meeting so many more of the Buffistas in person. Also, I need to give some monster props to Ginger and Brenda for their mad org skills. I also need to take my wonderful car to the wash, as she deserves it after serving me unwaveringly, despite the attack of bug splat and plant jizz.

I do have the unmistakeable impression that my hat had a somewhat better time at the F2F than I did, since it perched on some lovely heads AND took a few boobie rides, but I had a blast all the same. Just sorry my early departure negated a late night in the hospitality suite.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Made it home. Pictures in a few hours, after sleep.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

We danced to Justin Timberlake in your honor!

Oh, ha! I have no doubt.

Pictures! Not very many, I'm afraid I kept getting caught up in conversations and forgetting I had a camera. I haven't looked at them yet, I hope they aren't all floors and ceilings. Captioning after coffee.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

-t, you've got some great pictures in there. LOVE the one of theodosia, she looks so sultry.

Someone has a fabulous pic of Theo sitting regally with a tiara on and the boa wrapped around her neck. I can't remember who, though.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay pictures!

I want to see Matt post that he made it to Miami Beach last night. He was getting in late so I don't want to call and wake him.

Yes, we did dance to Justin Timberlake. Brendon's knowledge of current music is better than mine as he listens to different radio stations. I tend to listen to Jazz by myself and Rap when I have the boys in the car.

Pictures are tough when I'm looking more 63 than 53. I did like my dress though. I bought it a year ago but hadn't actually worn it yet. It made me feel very southern bellish.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Pictures are tough when I'm looking more 63 than 53.

you're looking 33!!

Pffft! I thought all through the F2F that Laura looked especially lovely. Knowing your killing schedule I was going to ask what your secret is for looking so well-rested.

KatieBee is looking over my shoulder and says "With that smile, Laura will be adorable when she's in her nineties. So there."

Sail and I are about to hit the road. Ginger arranged for there to be a great clatter this morning, workmen arrived to replace her dining room sliders with french doors (and they are faaabulous! really!), so we wouldn't be tempted to linger. Guests begin to smell, Katie says, after three days.

"And while they're lovely to have around," Ginger adds, "Sometimes you just want them gone so you can pick your nose and scratch."

Katie's concerned Ginger may make her sit in the driveway until time to leave for her evening flight. Yeah, right.

Sad it's over folks. Let's do it again!
