The MARTA trip from the airport isn't bad. I'm game for that, or figuring out some other alternative.
Ooh, yeah, we need to find those ginormous post-its again. Those were perfect.
If you're arranging a place to meet, remember that there's a North Terminal and a South Terminal baggage claim.
Maybe at the rental car desk? That seems like it would be simple enough.
I'm game for sharing a taxi. Or negotiating MARTA, other city's public transit is always exciting.
Yay!
I arrive last at 3:53 on Delta Flight #24. I can check my cell phone for messages when I land, and/or give you a call on yours to see if you're still in the airport. I don't want to make you wait if you're ready to go-go-go. I'll have to check a bag since there's no way I can fit everything for the F2F and everything I need for my subsequent business-type meetings in Savannah. (Where everything = all the shoes).
On Sunday I'm meeting my college suite-house-mate for brunch and spending the day with her.
Woo! I got my official list in the mail.
I really should be finishing work stuff so I can get in my car. I will be arriving late tonight, but really late if I don't get my ass in gear.
Vortex, if it's not too late, throw me on the reservations list for the Tapas place for Saturday (if that's the plan). Will also email you in case you get that first.
Rocky Horror on Friday could be good fun too - I should be all recovered from the driving (I'm usually a bit tweaked after several hours in the car; don't even ask me how Sunday and Monday are going to go).
OK, here is my flight info for tomorrow for those who want to follow along at home:
Flight: Northwest Airlines 1240
Departs: Thursday, May 3rd, 9:05am
From: Chicago O'Hare
Arrives: Thursday, May 3rd, 1:53pm
To: Atlanta, GA
Layover: Detroit Metro, MI from 11:23am to 11:58am
continuing on Flight 839
Um... this means that I stay on the plane, and it just stops in Detroit for a bit, right? So I don't need to worry about catching another one in Detroit?
eta to add essential stuff....

Yeah, that's kinda' why I decided to fly, instead of driving 14 hours each way in a 24 year old car. But I hate flying, and the car is quite comfy, so I'm almost regretting the decision.
You only have the one flight number? That's probably right then.
Oh no, I have two. I just saw it a minute ago (I failed to include it in my cut-n-paste).
I don't have a white board, but I was planning to bring a bulletin board and paper.
For the DC F2F, we did these fun little sheets that said “I’m going to . . “ “I’m leaving at . . .” , etc. Okay, we is me and I thought they were fun. Anyway, we stuck them on a bulletin board and it seemed to work.
But I have a 35 min. layover in Detroit, so I'm slightly paranoid my first flight will be late and I'll miss the second one.
I’ll e you at your profile addy
Someone take a shot or two for me.
*sigh* The things I do for you.
The things I do for you.
YAY! Hey, I am definately coming out to DC in June. I just need to book my flights and stuff.
