It's just beginning to penetrate to my inner lizard brain that by this time two days hence I'll be on a plane on my way to Atlanta! A month of unemployment has clearly unhinged what little sense of time I had to start with.
Hey, as you all know, Matt the Bruins Fan and I fancy ourselves foodies (well, he actually IS, I just fancy), so we're making plans for dinner Saturday night. Our restaurant of choice is Strip--Steak and Sushi Entrees are $12-$20, and the menu has something called Disco Fries -- with melted cheese and gravy. Can't decide if that's gross or fantastic, we'll have to try it!
Also, we were thinking of tapas at Pura Vida Tapas, our alternate prom location.
I'll have a car, so I can take at least 3, but Pura Vida is walking distance, I think.
E me at my profile addy if you're interested in dinner. Since it's Saturday night, we should make a reservation soon!
a secret?
Are you looking for suggestions?
a secret?
damn formatting grumble.
Disco Fries is a better name, though.
I haven't been there, but I'll warn you that the reviews aren't good for Strip [link] ). If you want the best steak in Atlanta, I'd suggest Bone's [link] It is Not Cheap, but the service is great.
Pura Vida (review: [link] is next door.
Edited because I can apparently no longer type.
I wonder if they used to be called Poutine, but after the Iraq War brohaha with France, they renamed them, like Freedom Fries?
