Disco Fries is a better name, though.

I haven't been there, but I'll warn you that the reviews aren't good for Strip [link] ). If you want the best steak in Atlanta, I'd suggest Bone's [link] It is Not Cheap, but the service is great.

Pura Vida (review: [link] is next door.

Edited because I can apparently no longer type.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I wonder if they used to be called Poutine, but after the Iraq War brohaha with France, they renamed them, like Freedom Fries?

(kidding)

(I hope)

I'd be interested to try the tapas.

Hmm, I liked it not necessarily for steak, but for variety. Good to know about the reviews though.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

But poutine is Quebecois... unless we're still mad at the Canucks for not joining the Coalition of the Willing?

Strip is in the new Atlantic Station [link] which is a live/work/shop development just west of I 75/85 off 17th St. Ikea is next door. A lot of the restaurants there don't quite have themselves together. It has a very nice movie theater with seats so comfy you want to take them home.

Two of the trendier restaurants fairly near the hotel are Shaun's [link] and Rathbun's [link] I've been to Rathbun's, and it's very good and also very busy.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Count me in for dinner at fancy restaurant on Sat. I have no major preference what place we go to, as long as it has nummy food.

I have a cunning plan.

You know how folks gather in the hospitality suite on Friday night? I was thinking of setting my laptop up in the corner and turning on video chat. That way, folks can play along at home and watch live video of the Buffista wackiness. And if folks at home have a video chat thingie, they can smile and wave at us F2Fers....

I've never actually used the video chat on my MacBook (even though a video camera is built in). Is this something that folks not on a Mac can see?
