Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.

So I’ve booked my flight for my San Francisco apt. hunting trip! I arrive late afternoon on Thursday May 3rd and leave Monday morning May 7th. I’ll probably spend that first night with the friends I’m staying with, but if any Buffistas are up for getting together Friday night or on the weekend, let me know.

Me, me! Assuming nothing comes up, as it did with DJ.
So, I'm leaving this Saturday, and my access to the board will be intermittent and limited. When I get into Atlanta next Friday, is there a person I should try to get in touch with at that point? I know the hospitality suite will be there, but I'm not sure how else to get in conatct with folks. I'm not doing the Shakespeare thing, as I'd rather take a wander around after the driving and all, and I'll probably want some chill-out time, but I figured there might be some kind of group outing afterwards (or does it go really late?).
Also, is there a fridge in the HS, and, relatedly, are there any wacky liquor laws in Georgia (like can't buy beer except by the case at special stores a la Pennsylvania)?
Frank, I won't be doing the Shakespeare thing. Ginger added a link about Georgia laws -- basically no alcohol sales on Sundays (except in restaurants), liquor is only sold at liquor stores and beer and wine are sold at grocery stores.
Brenda, insent (Paypal).
So I decided to fly to Atlanta. I'll be arriving Thursday and leaving on Sunday. Brenda, do you want flight info, or just arrival and departure times?
I made my reservation too late to get the really cheap fares. Oddly enough, the cheapest I could find included car rental in addition to the airline ticket (yes, the total price was cheaper than any fare I could find without the car), so I won't need a ride to/from the airport.

Thanks, askye. I missed that in the F2F page, but that sounds good - just like Maine (well except the "not on Sundays" part). Blue laws continue to baffle me.

Try being a liquor licensee in a state that still has blue laws. It's insanity. PA's just about the worst. Let's not forget about the ever-popular dram shop laws as well.
(Still bummed I'm not going to be able to make it to Atlanta.)
Tom, since you've got a car, just the approximate times is cool.
Reminder: Send me your money and your personal information, folks. There's a general in Nigeria who needs our help.
I just sent my Paypal payment in; I'm sure I'll be collecting that million dollars any day now.
