Brenda, insent (Paypal).
So I decided to fly to Atlanta. I'll be arriving Thursday and leaving on Sunday. Brenda, do you want flight info, or just arrival and departure times?
I made my reservation too late to get the really cheap fares. Oddly enough, the cheapest I could find included car rental in addition to the airline ticket (yes, the total price was cheaper than any fare I could find without the car), so I won't need a ride to/from the airport.
Frank, I won't be doing the Shakespeare thing. Ginger added a link about Georgia laws -- basically no alcohol sales on Sundays (except in restaurants), liquor is only sold at liquor stores and beer and wine are sold at grocery stores.
Thanks, askye. I missed that in the F2F page, but that sounds good - just like Maine (well except the "not on Sundays" part). Blue laws continue to baffle me.
Blue laws continue to baffle me.
Try being a liquor licensee in a state that still has blue laws. It's insanity. PA's just about the worst. Let's not forget about the ever-popular dram shop laws as well.
(Still bummed I'm not going to be able to make it to Atlanta.)
Tom, since you've got a car, just the approximate times is cool.
Reminder: Send me your money and your personal information, folks. There's a general in Nigeria who needs our help.
I just sent my Paypal payment in; I'm sure I'll be collecting that million dollars any day now.
brenda, if you haven't yet, you should receive a check any day now (yes, the check's in the mail). If you've gotten it, or get it tomorrow, could you ping my email address just so I know it's arrived (one less thing to worry about on my travels).
Brenda, insent for Brendon & me.
We are going to be driving up on Wednesday. I have to revise my reservation. We have business to attend to Thursday during the day in Gainesville. Thursday night at Ginger's, right?
Friday I have business to attend to in Cave Spring, but not all day. I'd love to do the Shakespeare thing, but I don't think Brendon is into it. May just hang out. He may surprise me with his secret love of Shakespeare.
We are going to leave Sunday late afternoon to have an arrival home in the wee hours and be here to get the kids off to school on Monday.
As always, my plans are subject to change.
Putting together music mixes and trying on prom clothes. Yay!
Chicagoistas, I'm going to be in your fair city for my birthday at the end of July, and would like to plan a big ass party. My friend that was helping with the planning has had to back out, and I need a Chicago point person. Would any of you be willing to help me out with this?
