I have a Last Days of Disco soundtrack CD that's pretty danceable throughout, if it would be helpful to bring along.

I'm going to have a ton of music with me, because of the road trip. There's a bag that stays in my car that has pretty much all my techno, greatest hits, and soundtrack cds (basically, stuff I'm unlikely to play while sitting around at home). Plus I'll be bringing stuff just for the trip.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I could definitely put together a dance playlist for the Prom! Or more mellow music for just hanging around in the hosp. suite.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I have just added a lot of stuff to the F2F page [link] It has many things to do in Atlanta, transportation information, prom information, Georgia law and assorted commentary. I am planning to add directions to my house and more of a map of the area around the hotel. Is there anything else you want to know? If you're interested in clubs, I'll have to consult my sources.

Oh, man, I'm loving the thought of Martinis at IMAX. Too many options!

Reminder: brunch for libkitty at my house this Saturday. If you aren't already on the BayAreaBuffistas list, ask Jon if he could set you up, then read recent past messages. Reminder of my quasi-Luddite status -- no computer at home. I'm taking off work Wed.-Fri. to squire libkitty about, so no work computer until next Mon.

x-posted with Beep Me:

So I’ve booked my flight for my San Francisco apt. hunting trip! I arrive late afternoon on Thursday May 3rd and leave Monday morning May 7th. I’ll probably spend that first night with the friends I’m staying with, but if any Buffistas are up for getting together Friday night or on the weekend, let me know.

Me, me! Assuming nothing comes up, as it did with DJ.

So, I'm leaving this Saturday, and my access to the board will be intermittent and limited. When I get into Atlanta next Friday, is there a person I should try to get in touch with at that point? I know the hospitality suite will be there, but I'm not sure how else to get in conatct with folks. I'm not doing the Shakespeare thing, as I'd rather take a wander around after the driving and all, and I'll probably want some chill-out time, but I figured there might be some kind of group outing afterwards (or does it go really late?).

Also, is there a fridge in the HS, and, relatedly, are there any wacky liquor laws in Georgia (like can't buy beer except by the case at special stores a la Pennsylvania)?
