If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I wonder, though, if we might lose some of the uninhibited nature of the event if we have it in a more public area.

That's my concern as I look at other places.

Maybe we should look into that Moulin Rouge place? I can call Monday and see what's the what. There's a transportation issue there, but the atmosphere would be great.

It's considerably smaller than the room used for the Prom in SF and it's old and funky. Also, it can be kind of visually divided, I think.

Good to know - I had pictured it quite a bit larger. That eases some of my concerns on that issue.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

How many people are planning on getting to Atlanta on Thursday night, and how many are booking a room in the hotel for that night? There was a thing or two things we were thinking of doing Thursday night, wasn't there?

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

For -t especially, but also really for anyone who's tangled with jury duty: How Did YOU Avoid Jury Duty?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hee.

I actually did the "just not showing up" last month after the people who live in the apartment I was in 2 places ago let me know that a jury duty summons had shown up for me there. I tried to call to tell them I don't live there anymore, but no one ever answered the phone down at the Office of Whatever - none of this fancy-dancy website business. And then I got the summons for here. I think they're in cahoots.

Thrive to spite them

My current plan is to come in on Thursday. Although there's a good chance now that I'll be renting a car, I'm not sure though. I wouldn't be going to the whiskey thing.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

As people begin getting their plans formalized, I can collect arrival/departure and contact info. Let me know when you're coming and how, when you leave, and cell phone numbers if any and I'll compile a list to go out during the week before - these have been enormously helpful in the past.

brendamercer at gmail. Email is also in profile.

We also need to think about collecting prom money. I can do that if no one else wants to, I'll just have to figure out another way to pay the dog walker, etc., so that my paypal account doesn't get confusing.
