Is Body Worlds the one where it's plasticized people? I haven't seen that one yet. And the Art Institute is always a good time, you wouldn't hear me saying no to that.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Body Worlds is creepy and fascinating. I saw in Philly.

Zenapalooza! Sadly, it took me a second to figure out what it meant... I'll be busy trying to look businessy at this stupid business meeting (it's yearly, and it's always totally unnecessary for me to be there, and yet every year I have to go. My boss is terrible in social situations, and she likes the way I schmooze a room.) But I should have at least one evening I can get away and meet Buffistas, if anyone wants to. I have to find out what hotel they're stuffing me in.

Well, hell. I have jury duty on May 3, gotta report for 2 days. No Atlanta for me. I expect many many pictures and reports to be streaming in constantly throughout the weekend!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

-t you can usually put it off for 6 months around here.

Atlanta isn't going to work for us this year - mostly because if I go that way I should see my folks and I don't have time for both yet.

I'm getting the pig!

Shoot. I'm out, too. Thanks to a couple of rather costly home improvement projects that needed to be done.

Houses can be such greedy little bitches, can't they? I don't even want to think about what needs to be done to mine. I hope we get to see you sometime this year, Nicole!

Not javachik

That sounds exactly like something Javacat would do (I mean that in a good way!)

I confess, yup, I did it. I also entered the libkitty brunch at my house as reminders for BayArea'istas. [Sparky, I changed your settings to daily digest; let me know if you want it back the other way.] Myself, Lee, and Deb are mods. Hmm. I just made Jon a mod, too; I should've thought of that before.

I'd pimp mine more but I don't know any details like what I'm going to make. My stand-bys are frittata, salad, some fruit, mimosas, but that doesn't seem like enough. Hmmm. Anyway, come and have brunch, whatever it might be!

If I put it off, I'll just have to miss something else. I'm never been called for jury duty before, it'll make me feel all good citizenly to do it.

I'm gonna try very hard to make the brunches the end of the month. I say this after my four ritual glasses of wine, so how much I should be held to it is up in the air, but I will definitely try.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

-t, I was actually able to reschedule my jury duty online. It was astonishingly convenient.
