Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

Because books.

I say we have a Central NY F2F next year ;)! We could go to Leroy, where Jello was invented!

Bwah! Or Onondaga Lake, the most polluted lake in the country! And hey, they have Tim Horton's in Rochester, and one coming to DeWitt!

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Not big F2F, but I plan to be in California April 14-29 in celebration of my 40th (gasp) birthday. My current plans are to head straight from the airport in San Jose to visit family in Morro Bay (central coast). Anyone who would like to visit that lovely, quiet, beautiful town on the ocean would be more than welcome. Or, if some folks from further south don't want to drive quite that far, I might be able to meet somewhere.

Somewhere around April 25th, I plan to head North to the Bay Area, where I'll be staying with the lovely and very generous Java Cat, who has also offered to host a get-together at her place that Saturday, April 28th (welcome!!). Between my arrival and the party, I'm hoping to do fun things with localistas and also visit a few other friends.

I'm really looking forward to seeing those Bay Areaistas that I've met and to meeting others. Other than the arrival and departure dates, I'm still flexible, so please contact me with details, suggestions, or whatever. I know I have nearly a month to go, but I'm so excited!!!

I'm getting the pig!

Oh! So jealous! I lived in Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo and Los Osos when I was younger. I miss that area so very much. Fingers crossed that you'll take pictures and share them with us.

And fingers crossed that you have a great time!

I wish you could come, Nicole! I don't have much of a camera, but my dad has a good one, so if he can find it then I work on pictures just for you. And anyone else who wants to look.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'll be in SF for my 40th birthday in April, too! Except that my birthday is on April 3. Crap. I'm sorry I'll miss you, libkitty.

Our wings are not tired.

I hear 40 is the new 30.

Also, can someone recommend a place to stay in Chicago for April 12-15?

Librarian Warlord

Libkitty and Tom, I'm very sorry I no longer live in the Bay Area!

As for the DCistas, should any of you like to join Vortex and I for dinner tonight at City Lights, drop me a line at my profile addy!

I'll be visiting DC eventually, Sparky.
