I'll be the doula!!
(Actually, if my insurance is any indication, if you deliver outside of your designated hospital at 35 weeks + they refuse to pay).
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.

Ooh. Just came across this - we totally need to plan an excursion during the F2F: Shakespeare's Tavern
oh, YES. Taming of the Shrew will be playing. We should see if we can get group tickets. a Friday night dinner/excursion?
Ooooh, I love Taming of the Shrew. My father used to read me Shakespeare as bed time stories.
So frustrating, timing-wise, the date of the F2F works for me, but we are so screwed money-wise right now. Gah.
I'm trying to make the F2F but I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to make it happen.
Without me!
t cries and cries
I really want to make this F2F, but not certain of that happening at the moment. S and I want to take a couple of trips this year, so hopefully we'll both make it. Maybe just me. We'll see.
I've been planning a driving trip down the eastern seaboard, though I'd originally thought it would be more Feb/March. How far is Atlanta from Charlotte, NC? I'm going at least that far south, so if it's not an extreme haul from there, I might rethink when I take my road trip.

If memory serves (since I was contemplating this very thing last fall), it's about three 1/2 hours. It's a straight shot on the highway so I imagine it can vary widely depending on traffic.
I'm thinking about driving it myself. It's 13 hours from New Jersey, but I've driven to Nashville before, so I'm used to it. It's less hassle than flying, and then I have my car. Of course, I'd have to take more time off work.... I dunno. Rambling.
