"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm also a fan of kayak.com [link]

Our wings are not tired.

Yup, Ginger, another great one. I used Kayak to book my hotels in London.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Neither of the trips I previously committed to overlap this, so funds permitting, I'm going.

This will be my first F2F. Be gentle. Do I need a secret password?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Do I need a secret password?

Yes. But we call it a "safeword."

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Well, this just gets better and better!

What is even happening?

Zen, I've never been, but the safeword (or unsafe -- perspective depending) seems to be, "Too much candy."

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Well, I should let you know that me & Jilli won't be able to make it this year. It's not the timing, it's not the location, we're just having to penny-pinch for the foreseeable future.

I will look forward to the oodles of posts, though.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I used Yahoo Maps to find out about the driving distance today and it told me I should be able to make the trip in 6 hours. So apparently there's a massive space warp somewhere along US 78 that cuts the distance in half.

Ann, that's a ferret.

It's supposed to be only 9-10 hours' drive from DC. We may try that.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm going to be 8 months pregnant. Y'all have fun without me though!
