Yeah, the help is more "hold my hand while I call this hotel" as well as "nag me so I actually call this hotel."

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Heh. Yeah, I can do that.

I sort of volunteered to do Boston. I can organize like a demon, but I don't know the city very well, so your help would be great.

SFistas! I will be briefly in SF in a few weeks for work. I need a restaurant where I can invite maybe 20 people, do a brief presentation and have a (not too expensive) meal, something like Maggiano's. Can be in Oakland or SF. Suggestions?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Where in the city does it need to be, Vortex?

Heh. Somewhere in the Oakland/SF area. I'll be inviting kids from both cities.

Maybe juliana's M's restaurant? Or is that too far?

I don't know. Deb let me know that there's a Buca di Beppo in town, great food and good for kids.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Maybe juliana's M's restaurant? Or is that too far?

When will it be? It's getting sold soon.

There's an Old Spaghetti Factory in Oakland on Jack London Square. There's also a ton of chain-type restaurants on Fisherman's Wharf, and all of them have private rooms.

But Buca works, as well.

HOWEVER, Vortex and I will be spending mucho time at M's place any way. Provided she's here before it's sold.
