Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

If we're looking at rest areas, Teppy is going to buck for Cheesequake.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

You should have experienced it in the 1970s. If you thought the smell was bad now...

It was the 80s, so not too far off. And oh HELL yeah!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

When I told him I wanted to wave at him from you two, he said "Ah, now there's two people I love. Wave back."

Well, I'm going to be all sorts of beaming today.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Jilli, I only wish I could show you his face when I mentioned you guys. He was in full "on" mode, and I said the magic words, "Pete and Jilli up in Seattle" and his face just went all soft and warm - you know the look I mean?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hellooooo from Nashville! We have breakfasted and are now showering and will soon be heading downtown. We're trying to come up with as many different answers as possible for what our relationship is and why we're in town.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Hello, fair LAistas. I am in your lovely city and will be here until Tuesday night. Other than a wedding tomorrow at 11:30 at Ports o' Call (Sidebar: Who gets married at 11:30 on a Sunday? Who gets married at Ports o' Call?) I have no plans other than to hang out with my parents and soak up the love. I would love to see people while I'm here. I suck at the whole advance notice thing. Sorry!

This is only sort of on topic, but it does involve a possible F2F, and I don't know where else to post it, and I don't know which thread Nilly hangs out in. So if Nilly doesn't read in here, can someone who posts with her please pass this on?

Nilly, check your email. I sent it to all three. Pinged Mr. Gaiman, as promised, and he pinged me right back and said, BRILLIANT! Tell her to make sure to tell me she's your [and Pete and Jilli's] friend.

I forwarded the message to all three of your inboxes.

So if you can get there, he's looking forward to meeting you, so no shyness, love, all right?

well, it DOES involve a face to face, damn it

The status is NOT quo.

Kat, I'm cleaning like a cleaning thing today. I could make time later tonight or Monday after work, though! Send me your info (ktaylor9 AT mac DOT com) or give me your cell and I'll email mine back to you. ND is working, but I'm around.
