F2F 4: Too Much Candy, Never Enough Mojitos.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
Ahhh, Beej, we had such a rockin' time with you. So glad you met up with us. Last night ended up being lowkey - meara and amyth and I got yummy (and hella STRONG) drinks at a gay bar and then relatively early home. Fun times, though.
Oh, and Steph, I love the vid. I've looked through the pictures and enjoyed them, but am way too tired to hunt for the eggs.
Hooray for Buffistavids! And pictures!
It was great fun hooking up with you smonster...and amyth's wonderful hugs! I had a great time all the way around.
Corb Lund is now on the radar of my friend, the music journalist, I told you about. If he ends up writing anything, I'll forward it to you.
Glad to hear you had a nice time with meara and the powerful drinks. Ima bet I made it to bed before you did though! Not sure why I was so worn out.
Hope you had fun on the 4th!
I don't know which photo has this reflection Easter egg! I liked Kristin's, though.
My topless photo manages not to display my unsightly stomach bulge. Well done, Pete.
So many great photos! I must take a closer look at them all later. And save them for blackmail purposes.
Someone in LJ asked deb for the recipe for the fabulous tuna, white bean, and basil salad that she made for the F2F. Now I'm
craving
it. And I have a nice piece of albacore tuna in my freezer that would be perfect. But, I'm not home for dinner tonight or tomorrow. Feh.
Come to my house, Vortex!
Come to my house, Vortex!
oh, I would if I could. CRAVING, I tell you.
Vortex, Marvelous Market just north of Dupont Circle does something ALMOST as good - they call it Tuscan White Bean and Pasta Salad. But Deb's recipe would be good to have, right?
You know, you guys set off a craving for a white bean salad last night that I could not satisfy, for though I have a number of recipes I didn't have all the ingredients for any one of them. I think I'll stop at the grocery store tonight. But, yes, we need Deb's recipe.
Albacore tuna, torn basil, cannellini beans, a bit of olive oil, a dash of basalmic, and a sprinkle of good salt.
Or you can check it out in deb's words in my lj ( [link]
(Can you tell who started this whole thing?)
