Lorne: My little prince. Oh…what did they do to you? Angel: Nina…tried to…eat me. Lorne: Oh, you're--medic! You're gonna make it Angel. Just don't stop fighting. Doctor! Is there a Gepetto in the house?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Under the circumstances, I'm very glad you stuck to a single martini each.

Yes, happily our sense of adventure and taste for a fine classic martini did not outweigh our general suspicion for the hard stuff.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What should I do today? There is some vague possible plan for meeting L and her dad for lunch, or something, but I don't know if or when that is happening. So, I am footloose and fancy free.

Go find the French places near downtown, like Cafe Claude. That'd be a nice lunch and close to you. The Virgin Megastore is within a couple blocks, and it has a Citizen Cupcake upstairs. It's very nice to get a nibble or coffee up there. After North Beach wakes up (11ish) you should explore there. Go to City Lights books. Go Black Oak Books around the corner on Broadway. Walk up Columbus until you get to Washington Square. Go to Mario's Bohemian Cigar store (a bar/cafe - not a cigar store) and have a Lillet. Or go to Cafe Greco and get a coffee drink and a tiramisiu. Ogle the Italian and Greek boys reading the euro futbol news.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I tried actual peanut butter. That didn't work either. Left grease marks on my monitor, too. PBOMM

All the the stuff I have left to do beofre I go is teetering on the edge between 'hectic' and 'i hope you weren't planning to sleep between now and leaving, you silly girl.'

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Ahem. You can have lunch with me if you like, Nora. I'm within shouting distance of Virgin.

Also, isn't Grant cool in the morning? I don't like it in the afternoon & evening so much, but I love running Chinatown in the morning.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Chinatown's wonderful when it's quiet, before the big shopping and tourist runs begin. I lived Russian Hill/North Beach from 1976 until August of 1978, and it saved my sanity and possibly my life.

Bless the Trieste.

Vortex is on her way with car. The house is as clean as I'm getting it right now. Fay's futon and brand new shiny foam topper for additional comfort is upstairs. I've unloaded Nic's Camry and everything except the perishable stuff is stacked in my catering supply shed, ready to get loaded. After that, off the get Fay.

I think I'm supposed to be having dinner with juliana and Vortex tonight, but I may pass in favour of getting the rest of the hospitality suite assemblage done, and taking Fay for a burrito at Pancho's.

NORA! (waving madly)

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I can pitch in with the HS if needed.
