Any DCistas free to get together with smonster and meara and myself this weekend--either Saturday night, or Sunday brunch?
Also, anyone who wants to meet up at Folklife on Sunday or Monday afternoons, say the word! (Yay!)
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.

Me! Me!
I might tag along to Folklife at some point, too.
Eeeeexcellent.
SO SAD TO BE MISSING CORB & AMYTH & SMONSTER.
Anyhoo. I'm getting into DC around 5ish on next Wednesday, and back to NYC (88 E. Broadway - oy) around 4ish that Friday, departing again at 6 bloody a.m. on Monday. In NY, we’ll be staying in the 40’s, really close to Broadway.
Lee is the roXXor for lending me her iPod for the long bus ride.
So, NYistas - brunch? (It's not quite breakfast, it's not quite lunch, but it comes with a little slice of cantaloupe.) Something else?
I'm excited about meeting up at the F'life. Just a stroll from the house and always a hoot...as much for the people watching as for the actual exhibits/shows. (The year they had a polka tent nearly did me in with the joy of olders and youngsters careening about.)
Any thoughts on the where and whening of a meeting place?
eta: I can definitely make the Monday show.
I'll need to check with Hubs before saying anything certain.
Beej: Cool! Corb's playing at 4:00 on Monday on the Northern Lights stage.
If you like, email me your cell phone # to my profile addy, to facilitate the meeting-upping.
88 E. Broadway
This is the Chinatown bus stop, I assume? You'll be closest to the East Broadway stop on the F line, which, coincidentally, is also the line closest to me!
To get to your hotel, take the F train north to 42nd St/6th Ave or to 47-50th St (Rockefeller Center)/6th Ave and walk over to Broadway. You could also change to the A/C/E line at West 4th St, which will let you off a bit closer (42nd/8th).
What day were you thinking of brunching? Sunday is when most places are open, but I know of a few that serve Saturday brunch too. There are a zillion places to eat close to me, or I can research Manhattan brunch options if you'd rather not come out to Brooklyn.
I would love to meet up with amyth and smonster on Sunday for brunch - that's close to where I live!
juliana, I'd love to see you too - I have to work, but I can get free in the evenings.
Yay, Toddson! Looking forward to seeing you. See you at 10:30 on Sunday.
