You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Tzepesh

Oh, my. After Vlad, I assume? I hope on your behalf he doesn't necessarily live up to his name. The claw marks could be legendary.

(tseapa - spike, splinter; tsepesh - impaler, of course)

I'm glad y'all found kitties to suit.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Yup, after Vlad. His only similarities seem to be fearlessness and an intensity to the eyes.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

What's the other kitty's name?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Adorable.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

We could just split the hanging. We'll get her Sunday night, you guys get her Monday.

Going back to ancient history here....

That's fine by me. I haven't gone through all nine lives yet, so multiple hangings won't stop me.

If the idea of a BBQ is still enticing, feel free to do so. I don't mind not getting pool time.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

What's the other kitty's name?

Ruthven. (Pronounced "Roothven", because I never knew that Ruthven was supposed to be pronounced "Rivven".)

So we have Trinian (the World's Dumbest Cat, but a very sweet girl), Tzepesh, and Ruthven. Yes, we like wacky cat names.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Years ago we had a cat named Marple-Newtown (after a town in Pennsylvania). A contender for dumbest cat in the world ... but beautiful and very sweet.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

How is Trinian adapting to having the boys around?

It's hard to tell, at this point. The boys are being kept in one room right now, and Trinian will walk up to the closed door of that room, meow, and sometimes hiss. The times that I've been in the room with the boys when she's hissed, they've both looked at the door inquisitively, but don't seem frightened or agressive. We're going to try introducing them face-to-face in a few days.

(This morning while visiting the boys, I explained to them that they were hearing Trinian, who is the Senior Cat of the household, and that she's very sweet but a little dim. And that they were both very obviously smarter than her, so they need to be patient with her while she tries to get used to them. They both gave me the whatever nice lady, just keep petting us ankle-nudges in response.)

Hee. It sounds like the boys won't be too interested in challenging her. Or if they follow your advice, they'll at least be sneaky about it. I'm glad you are enjoying your new kitties.
