Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

This. I'm so happy this money is being raised.

As I looked through the donations, I was moved by the responses of the writers. Any of those prizes would be pretty darn cool. But the only one that would make me geek out would be Tim's "this was my first Angel script."

I covet it.

y'all have made me a coveter.

eta: And a thread killer. Ima go break some more commandments.

What is even happening?

The NYT is reporting rumors of progress in WGA negotiations.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

My local news just mentioned progress had been made but they weren't specific.

The LA Times is saying that the deal is done.

It's all so odd.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Isn't it, Kristen? I've gotten so used to the strike, I'm not sure how to adjust after it's over.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I'm not sure it is over. There seems to be this false frenetic optimism about it that doesn't ring true to me. Or I am just too cranky to buy into it. I don't know.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm just skeptical of the news media getting an announcment of a legitimate done deal before, say, the actual WGA members that post here.

My experience in unions has been that everyone else always knew everything way before I did.

Yeah, it's not officially over yet. But the entire world seems intent on reporting it is. Hence the oddness.

I'm just skeptical of the news media getting an announcment of a legitimate done deal before, say, the actual WGA members that post here.

Oh, I'm sure it will be in the press before the membership gets notified. That's the way things seem to be done. But I'd expect there would be an official statement to the press by both sides once there's a deal, instead of "unofficial sources close to..."
