I'm supposed to deliver you to the Master now. There's this whole deal where I get to be immortal. Are you cool with that?

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I have no idea how much of "classic" TT the comic mined

Off the top of my head, the major story arcs that pulled from the classic comics, though with some changes, were the Terra arc, the Doom Patrol/Brotherhood of Evil arc and the Raven/Trigon arc. The last season also featured a lot of cameos from assorted Titan members over the years including Jericho and Kid Flash.

His skin was okay, but I'm still skeptical (or forgetful) about Gar's hair.

Honestly, all you'd have to do is find an actor that doesn't mind dying their hair green. My brother's done a wide range of colors over the years and they've all looked as natural as having green, blue or crimson hair can look.

They could use the same model to do cyboeg the did on SV.

I didn't like the way they did Cyborg on Smallville. A big part of Cyborg's angst comes from the fact he's very obviously not human.

Also, maybe it is just me - but if the acting is good, the writing is good, and the director maintains a good pace, I'm cool with the special effects consisting of hand puppets.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Great story, Joe! Are you going to go to the play and go backstage?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

As does Gar's. Donna and Dick and Wally can pass. Gar and Vic are visibly different outcasts. Gar was Doom Patrol, man. Freak city.

Life is eternal, Love is immortal, and death is only an illusion.

I got more of Gar's angst coming from abandonment, thenhis skin or condition. He seems to enjoy it and eveything that comes with it.

Alot of his problems came from Tara/Terra and his step-dad.

Victor, yes he seemed to not be able to handle the crome suit and when anyone shunned him because of it. He is the Titan's version of the Thing.

Hey, anyone read the current Crisis story and see who they killed off? I was so sad!

Not in a TT storyline last year where he was trying to be cured.

Every time you say "Gar" I have to stop and remind myself "they mean the other Gar! Beast Boy".

I seem to recall they like to go back and forth on whether Gar likes being "Beast Boy", green-skin and all or whether it makes him feel like an outcast and wants to be cured. There was an arc from a little bit back where he was cured and then reinfected himself to save the day without a second thought.

That's the one I was thinking of--except I remember him wanting to be cured.

He gained B-list celebrity with it, but he never had a life outside that, his dad, and his current team.

I agree, they do go back and forth.

There was while he was like big Celeb and all. I remember the virus story.

I just think Gar's problem is inconsistant writing. He is like BSG's Apollo. He is written whatever way they want for whatever story, but has only a few real principle qualities to fall back on. He digs his powers and what he can do though with them.

His best story was the Terra/Tara and Jericho thing.

Hey they could also add Raven in. She has basically been ther from the start.
