To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Art Crawl!!!

CBS thinking of bringing Dexter over from Showtime if the strike goes on too long.

I haven't seen it, but won't they have to cut lots?

Kristen - Dec 07, 2007 7:11:39 am PST #8803 of 10001

I would think so. There isn't as much gore as you'd expect but there would still be a lot to cut.

The Parents Council people are already flipping out. They're threatening to call an advertiser boycott.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

There's also a lot of bad language, and I'm not sure how stringent they are on S&P since Dexter's victims are naked on the table, though their naughty bits are covered with plastic wrap.

What's more ridiculous is they're also considering bringing Weeds over, which...really? What the hell will that look like after it's been edited? I guess if they got Sex and the City on TBS...

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Dexter could be amusing BECAUSE of the cuts. Sometimes the contortions and substitutions are downright hilarious.

Dexter could be amusing BECAUSE of the cuts.
I had to watch Blade 3 on TNT or TBS, I forget which, for exactly that reason. Ryan Reynolds' character cusses up a storm in the uncut movie, so I was transfixed by all the hoops they jumped through to edit it for basic cable.

It's not looking good.
