I'm not sure how old he is, but I heard him use the word 'newfangled' one time, so he's gotta be pretty far gone.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

A live-action Teen Titans couldn't possibly top the live-action Justice League. [link]

Does Lorne not count? I'm not sure I understand the specifications, so he might not. It just seemed funny to see people in Minearverse saying, "When's the last time there was a network TV show where someone regularly wore FX makeup?"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Lorne does count, and I completely forgot him in the regular category. His skin was okay, but I'm still skeptical (or forgetful) about Gar's hair.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I don't know that they'd invest in a fully green Gar. They'd probably settle for a nice emerald aura right before he changes shape. Cyborg? Slap a couple metallic looking appliances on his face. Starfire's hair? Do it like the cartoon and airbrush her with bronzer.

Life is eternal, Love is immortal, and death is only an illusion.

I miss Birds of Prey ALOT! To bad they had to rewrite and crew it up. The Comic is really good and the show could have been awesome.

Now I have to go elsewhere to see Shemar with a gunn. *sigh*

As to the Titans, if the kept with the small tight group there would be no more cost or effect then the do now for Smallville.

Use Dick Grayson.... Nightwing has no powers just lots of stunts.

Donna troy, in whatever version they want, is more raw strngth and is human like Clark.

They could use the same model to do cyboeg the did on SV.

Really the biggest money would go to Gar. And if they wanted to do it Starfire's hair.

But maybe for pazzaz add Bart(kid-flash) and you have his super speed.

I honesty don't think there would be much cost that is not in an average ep of SV, today. I would love to see it.

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

I made Katie Finneran's day!

Last night I was headed to a going away party for one of the attorneys. I was walking with a couple of my colleagues and enjoying the sights, including New York's seemingly endless stream of beautiful women. Which is, of course, how I spotted Katie. As she got closer I realized that I recognized her, and right after she passed me I figured out who she was. "Katie Finneran!" She turned around and walked back toward me. "Oh, hi..." I could tell she was trying to remember who I was, so I told her, "No, you don't know me. I'm just a big fan of Wonderfalls and The Inside." She was surprised I recognized her. Her hair was strawberry blonde and pulled back; she seemed much thinner than on either show. Don't know if she lost weight or if she just dressed and carried herself differently from Sharon or Mel. Anyway, she looks GREAT in person, much better than on either show -- and I thought she was smoking hot on tv.

She asked my name and demanded a last name when I just said Joe. I told her that I had also hooked my wife on Wonderfalls. "You should come to Pig Farm." What's that? "It's a play I'm doing at the Roundabout. Bring your wife and come backstage!" With a charming smile and "You really made my day!" we parted. She made my day, too. And that was even before I started drinking on someone else's tab.

Aquaman is, reportedly, dead in the water.

Excellent phrasing, Kristen!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I made Katie Finneran's day!

Which probably made a bunch of buffistas' day as well as green with envy! Great story.

Excellent phrasing, Kristen!

Maybe I should consider a career with Variety.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What a great Katie Finneran story! I thought I had reached my maximum love on her, but I was wrong.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I have no idea how much of "classic" TT the comic mined

Off the top of my head, the major story arcs that pulled from the classic comics, though with some changes, were the Terra arc, the Doom Patrol/Brotherhood of Evil arc and the Raven/Trigon arc. The last season also featured a lot of cameos from assorted Titan members over the years including Jericho and Kid Flash.

His skin was okay, but I'm still skeptical (or forgetful) about Gar's hair.

Honestly, all you'd have to do is find an actor that doesn't mind dying their hair green. My brother's done a wide range of colors over the years and they've all looked as natural as having green, blue or crimson hair can look.

They could use the same model to do cyboeg the did on SV.

I didn't like the way they did Cyborg on Smallville. A big part of Cyborg's angst comes from the fact he's very obviously not human.
