[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I think it's a bit risky/stupid to piss off all these highly creative and very funny writers who suddenly have a lot of time on their hands.

I don't follow. Why would that Daily Show writers video piss off other writers?

t edit Oh, wait, you mean it's the producers pissing off the writers? Gotcha. Never Mind!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

European rugby player DVDs are at the top of my To Buy list anyway

Matt, Dieux du Stade is not about rugby ;)

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I'll probably end up watching more British and Canadian television.

Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hey! I'll have you know that I'm aware of Ben Cohen buying out his contract with the Northampton Saints after 11 years of loyal service. And he's never played for Stade or been featured in one of their calendars.

Despite a great deal of wishing on my part.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You would mind watching the new Robin Hood, Dana. Trust me.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You would mind watching the new Robin Hood, Dana. Trust me.

I heard it got better. No? Not even for pretty? (I saw a vid for this series that was Guy/Marian, set to Whitesnake. I can't decide whether that's a deterrent or a hilarious encouragement.)

Art Crawl!!!

I think that you have to watch the new Robin Hood like anyone watches Smallville. With v. low expectations.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I admit, I only watched one episode, and was put off by the wearing of camo fatigues and the heavy-handed PTSD and war in Iraq allegories.

Plus Robin and Marian are short on charisma.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I think that you have to watch the new Robin Hood like anyone watches Smallville. With v. low expectations.

Oh yes. Yet somehow I couldn't look away.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I kind of liked Robin Hood. Of course, I watch Moonlight and Blood Ties so my tolerance is high and my expectations low. Jekyll is excellent!
