I kind of liked Robin Hood. Of course, I watch Moonlight and Blood Ties so my tolerance is high and my expectations low. Jekyll is excellent!
The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Jekyll?
It's a BBC series from Ste Moffat, sumi. (One of the best Doctor Who writers). (Well, the best Who writer by far, in fact).
Okay, I just didn't get it in the context of Robin Hood. (Apparently, the Sheriff of Nottingham is the father of Lily Allen the singer.) And I read elsewhere that early in season 2 there is shirtless wet Guy of Guisborne.
(Apparently, the Sheriff of Nottingham is the father of Lily Allen the singer.)
Yes! And he had a funny stand off with some fundamentalists!
Oh, sorry. He did a 'documentary' about those God Hates Fags people earlier this year. It was brilliant. (He's gay, so I had to put quote marks around documentary, because he didn't quite agree with them...)
That was it!
My favourite part of that was the camera pulling back to reveal what he was doing during the final shot...
Brilliant. Absolutely fucking brilliant.
I think I watched about 15 minutes of the first ep of Robin Hood back when it first aired, and what I saw was so awful, I had to turn it off. Which I was slightly sad about because it had Richard Armitage, who was hot like burning in the 2004 BBC adaptation of North and South. I think he plays Guy?
Yes, he plays Guy.
Who knew that eyeliner was so popular for men in 13th Century England?
