I don't know if it's been mentioned in another thread, but Local One in NY went on strike yesterday. So all the NY crew types who might've looked to theatre gigs to pick up some hours are out of luck because Broadway is mostly dark for the foreseeable future.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
What's going in LA bags? Because it does seem like the chemical handwarmer things with a Buffistas sticker on it might do the trick for NYCers. Let me think about my time and Thanksgiving and etc. before anyone starts sending me money.
I'm just trying to make sure that the folks that are getting lost in the shuffle here aren't forgotten.
I'm totally with you on that one, ND. The people who are going to feel the biggest effect of the strike immediately are of course the crews, PAs etc. Which isn't to say the writers cause isn't just; it is.
In non-strikey news, is anyone still watching Moonlight? Because this week's episode felt extra-Angel-riffic to me.
I gave up on Moonlight halfway through the first episode, I'm afraid.
definitely, Kristen. Coraline = Darla. i'm enjoying it by not thinking too much about it.

Because his Ex came back as a human? I went to the Angel place because of that.
Thats where the comparison ended though. This show is so very very bad. And yet I can't stop watching.

It's a really really specific place. Like, say, the size of a box.
I wonder if there's gonna be a box.
They did the same thing with Forever Knight so that's been thoroughly done and redone.
I stopped watching Moonlight when Mick was walking out in the sunlight with his hand held up to his face. Vampires only fear mild sunburn now, instead of bursting into flames? (Or was this explained in the show when I wasn't paying attention?)
I think they explained it. Vampires can't take sustained exposure to sunlight but a little bit won't kill them.
