Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The status is NOT quo.

"You must, you must, residuals or bust!"

Yeah. This is why I'm not on one of those picket lines.

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Sounds like picketing will be good for the body as well as the integrity, Kristen. Just remember to hydrate. Or at least coffeerate.

Picketing as a weight loss program

I picketed last week and lost bupkiss. Just got chills from the wind and rain. Sigh. Maybe it's because mine was just an informational picket, not an actual strike.

Swouncing

A discussion I saw in an Israeli site mentioned the "Moonlighting" episode of "The Taming of the Shrew" as a way that this show found to deal with the strike of '88.

Where do you come from? Where do you go? What is your scene, baby? We just gotta know.

It wasn't "The Taming of the Shrew" episode, it was a different one. The show came up ten minutes short, so they tacked a musical number onto the end of it:
