I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Gawd, then we had those awful Beaglettes threatening to send thousands upon thousands of stuffed beagles to Tim.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm just stoked that Tim gets to create god.

I need to withdraw from the handwringing at Whedonesque, where I constantly feel the need to say, "I am sure Tim will be fine. I'm sure Tim won't be writing Touched by an Angel. I am sure that Tim doesn't think that Christians/Jews/Buddhists/Muslims own god and all known subsidiaries thereof. I am sure that Tim won't preach morals at you. I am sure that the fox network is not the fox studio. I am sure that the sky is not falling."

Because? Fandom, it handwrings.

Punishingly Intricate

Tim, are you writing this show for me?

ha! One of my first thoughts when I read the premise was "Cindy is going to FLIP OUT!"

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Well, it handwrings less than Drive and The Inside from memory. Most people appear sold on the concept this time, whereas there was a surprising amount of negative reaction to Drive's concept. Not that Whedonesque is representative of The American Public, of course.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

That's not a regular gig, though, is it? Just a recurring role or something like that?

Unsure. The article I read didn't say.

Puh-lease. Has anyone seen anything he's written or read any of his interviews? I didn't like Touched by a Highway to Heaven either, but this show looks like it will absolutely ROCK. I mean, anyone who could write The Beagle Killer on Buffy, could never mess this one up.

Oh, and by the way, I love Cindy. Love.

And, I would not hate having Nathan Fillion on this show. Nope, I could live with that ok. Not saying he has time or inclination or anything. Just that it would make me happy. And since this show is clearly all about making me and Cindy happy...

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm sure Tim won't be writing Touched by an Angel.

From the sound of it, he won't be rehashing Angel either.

I like the premise, it seems like it would be lighter in tone than Drive or The Inside.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

So, this is what happens when I get a job. I should be unemployed more often if it means we get new Tim shows. I know I'm going to enjoy this one. It sounds like it can bring both the funny and the pain in heaping helpings.

Congratulations, Tim!

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

I had a dream about Nathan Fillion last night. He slapped me on the ass. That means that he's going to be in Tim's new show, right?

Johanna would like me to remind Tim that if he'd had a monkey on Drive things would have gone very differently. So just remember that the miracles should involve monkeys. It's important.

Daniel is working on a pitch that involves pirates. And he is at this moment on the phone telling me how good Firefly was, and I'm not hanging up on him. Despite my better judgment.
