Tim, congrats and good luck!
"It's about a man who says, 'I don't know how to be good, but I'll try to be better.' "
That line, alone, already sold me.
Also, one of the scenes that stuck with me most from "Wonderfalls" was the one from, IIRC, "Wound Up Penguin", in which the priest and Eric were sitting in two bathroom booths, confessing and talking and comforting. I loved it so much, and I say this as a religious person (not Christian, though). I can't wait to see what other, um, dare I call it games, with the regular ways of seeing and approaching things, may come next.
Maybe they're pitching it that way deliberately
Hopefully - Touched By An Angel ran for, like, 905349534 years.
I'm not big on liking religion. That would be my own concern.
Yay, Tim! Breathe that new network smell.
From the description, if it were anyone but Tim writing it, I wouldn't even consider watching it. It sounds more like Touched by an Angel than Wonderfalls.
with a touch of "Saving Grace"
You know, if Little Old Lady God shows up from
Joan of Arcadia,
Tim will probably kill her. This is not entirely a bad thing....
No killing Mrs. Landingham! Honestly, you bloodthirsty people.
