The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Yay Tim! Yay ABC! The concept sounds great.
Looks fantastic, Tim. Congrats!
Tim,
forgive me, but you look quite handsome in that picture attached to the article!
I'm stoked about the new show.
Tim, congrats! that's so exciting! May ABC be as good to you as you deserve.
They also won Pushing Daisies, so they have good taste.
Bonus: they can't be scheduled opposite one another!
Great news Tim, may it become a hit and air for years to come.
Good news Tim. Wonderful (fall?) thing to perk me up first thing.
congrats, Tim!!
hasta la vista, FUX!!!
From the description, if it were anyone but Tim writing it, I wouldn't even consider watching it. It sounds more like Touched by an Angel than Wonderfalls. Maybe they're pitching it that way deliberately. But it's Tim, so hopefully there will be many deaths and much weirdness.
eta because deliverately isn't a word, though it ought to be.
Tim, congrats and good luck!
"It's about a man who says, 'I don't know how to be good, but I'll try to be better.' "
That line, alone, already sold me.
Also, one of the scenes that stuck with me most from "Wonderfalls" was the one from, IIRC, "Wound Up Penguin", in which the priest and Eric were sitting in two bathroom booths, confessing and talking and comforting. I loved it so much, and I say this as a religious person (not Christian, though). I can't wait to see what other, um, dare I call it games, with the regular ways of seeing and approaching things, may come next.
