Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It feels like they traditionally submit pilots for some reason. Which is really odd, because those are rarely the best episode. But I guess they're the best episodes to view out of context, since the voters haven't necessarily seen the series at all.

Nightmares & Dreamscapes: From The Stories Of Stephen King • The End Of The Whole Mess • TNT • Ostar Productions

Wait, wasn't that one just Ron Livingston and Henry Thomas having conversations in an apartment and a lake house? I hardly think a CGI bee is worthy of an Emmy nomination.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

But with Tim's shows, often the pilot is the only one you get to see (sob).

in the category Miniseries, Movie, or Special

Didn't this happen with that FX show? The New Orleans heist one? It was cancelled and I think Andre Braugher ended up winning an Emmy in the miniseries category.

ETA: Thief

Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see the BSG got a nom. Less pleasant and less surprised about the Sopranos noms.
