"It just shows there are metrics other than ratings to gauge success in television."
The hell you say?
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

You know, I would have been glad to wager small sums of money on-line during Firefly, Wonderfalls, The Inside or Drive to save them. But who knew that was all it took?
Bwah. "It just shows there are other ways to rape the viewing public for money.", he meant to say.
There's an extensive interview on Drive with Jackal, where TM and Craig spill beans (or some better wording than this): [link]
My favourite new character suggestion is from Craig: "Although the image of a half-paralyzed guy, driving the killer truck using specialized hand controls was pretty hard to resist."
Man, reading all the various plot twists that were planned is kind of confusing, just after waking up. Maybe they would have played better on the actual show.
Not sure why I'd want to spoiler font, but better safe than sorry.
This is hilarious: This is more alternate universe, but I remember in the first draft of Tim’s pilot script, Susan went into a gas station bathroom and took a piss standing upright. I thought that was a pretty good surprise. Guess FOX didn’t.
This, is even more so: We would have learned that John Trimble was not really sick -- the meds were making him sick. Part of the game of the race. His believing he was a doomed man changed him and made him capable of things he normally would be capable of. Once he realized that he was not going to die, he’d be instantly hit by a bus, ‘cause, funny.
Frank, that hilarious bit was in the version I read. I thought it was a nice surprise too!
Frank's second whitefonted bit, I think, was a joke. But with Tim you never know!

I wasn't sure if he was joking and/or making a Wonderfalls shoutout, but it's funny to contemplate all the same.
Racist transvestite hatin' car in ep 4, then.
