Man, reading all the various plot twists that were planned is kind of confusing, just after waking up. Maybe they would have played better on the actual show.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Not sure why I'd want to spoiler font, but better safe than sorry.
This is hilarious: This is more alternate universe, but I remember in the first draft of Tim’s pilot script, Susan went into a gas station bathroom and took a piss standing upright. I thought that was a pretty good surprise. Guess FOX didn’t.
This, is even more so: We would have learned that John Trimble was not really sick -- the meds were making him sick. Part of the game of the race. His believing he was a doomed man changed him and made him capable of things he normally would be capable of. Once he realized that he was not going to die, he’d be instantly hit by a bus, ‘cause, funny.
Frank, that hilarious bit was in the version I read. I thought it was a nice surprise too!
Frank's second whitefonted bit, I think, was a joke. But with Tim you never know!

I wasn't sure if he was joking and/or making a Wonderfalls shoutout, but it's funny to contemplate all the same.
Racist transvestite hatin' car in ep 4, then.
Kevin & libkitty - Drive wouldn't have axed Standoff - it was just going to axe a Bones rerun and push one episode of Standoff back a week so that the last two episodes of Standoff would air together (replacing another bones rerun) on July 20. Now that Drive isn't airing, they've gone back to their original schedule (old Bones/new Standoff combo for the next two Fridays).
Ahh. That's what I get for reading the FOX forum and believing posters.
That makes much more sense, Invisible.
myspace.com/fox and network affiliate sites are set to stream the final two unaired eps of Drive beginning Mon., July 16. Rest in peace, Drive.
