[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Yeah, I figured they wouldn't be showing it. It was just saying they were going to show Drive and then putting on an Adam Sandler movie - insult to injury.
Not only was it an Adam Sandler picture, it was called "Anger Management". It averaged 1.3/5, which share wise is the same Drive was getting back in April.
This Friday's slot has been cleared for the Standoff finale (well, 17th episode, which is also the final one). Standoff has been averaging around 1.1/4. The Standoff fans had an almighty emailing campaign when they realised their finale had been axed due to Drive.
I didn't realize that Drive axed Standoff. That's kind of funny. In a very not funny kind of way.
oops. typo.

Not really the place, but this makes me kinda sad. I had kinda hoped Standoff would make it.
(Of course, I'd shiv Standoff for more Drive, so...)
Yeah. I understand why Standoff didn't make it. Right before the cancellation, the eps got to be not great. But I've really enjoy the ones they burned off.
Every time I watch Standoff, I think, doesn't the FBI have a dress code?
Yes, but in J. Edgar Hoover's time, it was a DRESS.
(sorry ... couldn't resist)
Fox now says they'll put the episodes up online.
Hurray! Despite being outside the US and using a Mac, Fox's Myspace streams things for me.
