Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

The fans (me too) were outraged.

So... he's not a fan?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Perhaps Frank is not known for his outrage over cancelled television shows, but given his work on F-shows prior, I doubt that is the case.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I did put the idea out there the other day that fans should have a mini-campaign for Drive on DVD, as that's one fight I think there's a chance of winning. Nobody bit, and I'm too burnt from the whole thing to try. I'd love to see some retrospective interviews and some commentary. Although I think I'm kinda clouded by the personal feeling that they should at least give it a DVD, you know?

What is even happening?

If there were 13 episodes in the can, I'd want them on DVD. But since only six episodes were shot, it doesn't seem likely I'd buy the DVD. If episodes 5 and 6 went on iTunes, I'd buy them, so I could see Kristen's episode, and if they went up on the website or the MySpace page, I'd certainly watch them.

My worry at this point would be whether the six episodes will actually tell any kind of a story, or if it would just make things worse for those of us who did watch and enjoy the show.

Well, Tim said here it ends on a cliff hanger. I did say a while ago I didn't see the last episode airing -- it's not that I think it's bad. It's because I think it would annoy people if it aired due to lack of conclusion. On DVD, I think there's some level of karma as you know when it's going to end -- but that's possibly just me.

I'd buy a DVD, as I figure it'd be half price (I'm totally cheap), as long as there were actual features on it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I still think the DVDs would be worth it if it were packaged together with The Inside. Without that, I would still buy it, despite the cliffhanger ending.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

As long as the last scene of episode 6 isn't Alex and Kathryn getting zapped into jujubees in the middle of their tearful reunion, I at least want to see everything that's been filmed.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

folks, what is the status of production? Any way that the final 7 will be filmed? Or is that me with my pipe dream?

I think production shut down after episode 6, since there was going to be an indefinite hiatus (maybe till fall?) before the final 7. I don't even know if any scripts past episode 6 were written.
