Heh. I went straight from Drive to Heroes to The Riches and then Waking the Dead. Why no, I was not asleep until nearly 4 am. Why do you ask?

The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Drive got creamed by Dancing with the Stars last night. It got a 3.3/5 compared to last week's 3.7/6.
I will NEVER understand.
Wait, wasn't THE INSIDE up against DwtS as well?
Well that is that then. Feels like a gutpunch to me. I can't imagine what those involved must feel.
Yes, Dancing with the Stars basically killed The Inside, and is killing Drive too. The launch didn't work, but I can't understand why it's loosing viewers. I presume it's because other series are now returning from hiatus against it.
Also, has anybody mentioned the Amazing Suddenly Red Car?
Was that the same car they were driving before? I was really confused about that.
I keep wondering who was behind the wheel of the Homicidal Racist NonGhost Truck. If it was someone representing the parties responsible for the race or if it was another sponsor.
I bet there's some sort of GPS locator/tracking device thing in the phones so sponsers/Race PTB can track if anyone is trying to ditch the race or do something unauthorized.
And because of the fake out with Wendy's husband and the cop with Alex (and the waitress, etc)I'm still not convinced the Army dude is real and I'm suspicious that the guy who picked up whatshername is part of the race.
It's just a completely different car, Polter-Cow. It's not explained. I presume it's there for special effects reasons, or something.
What gets me is people on the FOX forum are moaning about the number plates being incorrectly styled for the area -- but nobody has noticed one of the cars isn't just a different model, it's BRIGHT RED.
