The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
There's a clip of two of the cast of Drive on TV this morning: [link]
It contains a big spoiler. So don't watch it unless you want to be spoilered quite badly. At the end, it goes on about Nathan's Myspace Firefly thing I mentioned the other day, and kinda explains why he changed it back. Heh.
The spoiler is for tonight's ep only. So if you want to watch it after you see tonight's ep, there isn't a problem.
thanks for taking the spoiler bullet!
By the way, if anybody is wondering, Nathan's Myspace says: "Please, don't ask if there's going to be more Firefly. If you are a reporter researching for an interview, keep moving. Don't advertise this site. It's a secret gem, to be discovered like a pearl. This is not a source for legitimate press." The linked video explains what happened. For simplification (and for those who don't want to be spoiled in advance), it's just some reporter who uses Nathan's Myspace live on air as his 'research', which leads Nathan to be all 'WTF?*'. And quite rightly so.
- He doesn't say anything, but it's all over his face.
Am I stating the obvious if I point out that the people on the Fox Drive forum are even crazier than those from the early days of the Firefly OB?
How so?
MOUNTAINS MOUNTAINS NUMBER PLATES MOUNTAINS!
That's the Fox forum in 5 words or less. Tamara's posts are the only ones which keep me sane. That and the fact one of the 5000 people complaining about location problems (seriously) misspelled their topic title, when complaining about detail levels (they misspelled detail).
It's just full of people destroying the show for wrong number plates, MOUNTAINS etc. I think the entire state of Florida now has that as their home page.
I...have not noticed these MOUNTAINS at all. I guess they're in the background somewhere?
Kansas? Gettysburg?
