[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I...have not noticed these MOUNTAINS at all. I guess they're in the background somewhere?

Thrive to spite them

I missed the first few minutes -- I saw when Winston was cutting a deal with Alex. Anything happen before that?

AHRG. I just lost the minutes where Alex dealt with the tail. (For a good cause- my neighbor came to show me she made honor roll. Woohoo!)

They updated the opening credits with Tully's new car.

Have we seen the blonde's former partners since she slashed their tires, or was their last-place arrival at Cape Canaveral only shown in the promos?

askye, there was a "Jump Start Challenge" awarded to Tully and Corinne, since they moved the highest in the order between pitstops 1 and 2. They got an address in Sweetwater, GA that they're heading towards, and Homes decided to follow them to coast on their advantage (if they get the challenge, they get to skip a pitstop).

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm pretty sure since is the first time we've seen them since then. (Knowing they're Katrina survivors makes me nervous about how their story (assuming they have one) is going to be handled. I know, I'm judging ahead of the evidence.)

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Kansas?

That was what I would guess. I was trying to remember where I remembered the quote from.
