Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

"Ten percent of nuthin' is...let me do the math here...nuthin' into nuthin'...carry the nuthin'..."

Congrats Tim. Fingers crossed that Drive does get picked up

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

updates Amazon.com wishlist

Why am I up at 3:30am? Not up celebrating Tim's deal, because I had to learn about it from Simon just now.

No, I am up because some jackhole kept calling the wrong number. MY number. GRRRRRRR

YAY Tim!

Allyson, had I known that you were awake I would have asked if you wanted coffee.

I just want to go back to sleep.

I have 6 office moves to deal with today, and no one is packed.

Blech. That sounds like a pretty sucky day.

And sleep seems sort of pointless for me now. In two hours, I can just go into work.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Congrats to Mr Minear.

I saw the pilot for Traveler and it had elements which reminded me of the descriptions of Drive. Sort of. Also, rough cut of Heroes pilot with Batman Begins music provided much amusement. I think Heroes won't last long, but could be wrong.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"He has done such an incredible work for us," 20th TV president Dana Walden said. "He is always interested in stretching beyond the comfort zone, whether it's going deeply dramatic or writing with great levity. He is very versatile, a great team player and a skilled showrunner who is always willing to help."

I think they like him.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I think they like him.

Not enough to release the INSIDE on DVD, though. Or is that the responsibility of a different division of Fox?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I don't know, I really liked the Heroes pilot. It deserves a chance, at least, but I'm not sure if audiences will get into it. It's got serious scope and ambition, and it's rather cinematic in its aesthetic.

Was that Batman Begins music? I liked it.
