Yes, it is. I'm not saying this because of the quality of the show. I love the show. My family loves the show. But, a petition to save it? 4 days after the first episodes have aired? Crazy as crazy can be.

Petitions are good at giving an illusion of power, and TV is all about illusions of power, both with viewers and at a creative level.
The UK government started a petition website a few months ago, where people can start and sign petitions. It's a genius PR move.
unless they don't actually affect any changes and then they only serve to impress the people who have no understanding of how things really work or just like to see their name up in places a lot.
