Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

I don't want Tim to leave TV, because even if the shows don't take off, I've gotten like 20 hours of great entertainment from him in the last 3 years whereas filmmaking schedules would limit him to no more than 4 or so hours over the same period.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

did it really take Corinna telling Tully that she was the little blonde girl that watched her parents die for people to figure it out?

Err... yes.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Agreed, Matt -- that's 4 or so hours if he's lucky.

The thing Tim said here in the past about the BBC is spot on, I think. I live in the UK -- if Drive produces 13 episodes, that's actually more than most UK TV series. I'm happy for what I get. Of course, I'm totally greedy and want many years of one good show, but many years of many great shows doesn't suck in my world.

I'm with Jon. I knew it would be someone in the race, but it didn't hit me right away. Most of interest was focused on Wendy and Alex.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm awful with character names. Drive has the problem I've seen many series have, which is alternately calling characters by their first name, surname, and nick names.

Try watching a Chekhov play.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Ah, Russian nicknames. They make no sense to Europeans, that on top of the "last names kinda sound alike to ears not used to Russian names"

Plus Russian last names have a gender component, don't they? So that a woman might use the feminine version of her husband's masculine last name, and thus sound like two different last names.

Our wings are not tired.

I figured out early: Wendy would team up with annoying chick rather than shooting her. Didn't see coming: Corinna was little kid growed up. There were other things I saw coming, and things I didn't. I was entertained. I don't pay attention to reviews or ratings, so I'll just tune in tomorrow and see how it goes.

I hope it does well because it is something that my whole family enjoyed. Usually we enjoy different types of programs. I don't like when the premiere of a show is on a different night. That is just odd to me.

If Drive tanks tonight, I'm starting to think they should swap House and Drive around. They won't have anything to loose when it comes to Drive at that stage, and it'd give it the American Idol lead in.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I knew Corinna was the little girl, that Wendy's "husband" wouldn't be his husband and that Wendy wouldn't shoot the woman. However, I think I might watch too much TV, so to "fool" me, there has to be almost no foreshadowing, which then makes me mad because it comes out of left field. So I don't mind so much about guessing things, because people who don't watch tv as much as me/us need the clues, I think.
