'Conversations with Dead People'

The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I knew Corinna was the little girl, that Wendy's "husband" wouldn't be his husband and that Wendy wouldn't shoot the woman. However, I think I might watch too much TV, so to "fool" me, there has to be almost no foreshadowing, which then makes me mad because it comes out of left field. So I don't mind so much about guessing things, because people who don't watch tv as much as me/us need the clues, I think.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Zap2It's front page asks "Who will Alex hit next?". Well, it amused ME.

Our wings are not tired.

that Wendy's "husband" wouldn't be his husband

I said to DH, "that's not her husband." DH asked how it is I know this stuff. I don't try and look for clues because I like the surprises, but some things just jump out. I totally didn't expect to see the dude in the bathtub. I didn't expect Corrina to smack Alex in the head with the laptop either. Surprises are fun.

Punishingly Intricate

I knew it wasn't her husband when he walked in the police office but not before that. I knew right away it was Corinna in the flashback. The part about Wendy fulfilling the "elimination" by having Taryn Manning's character drive with her was a surprise to me.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hm. I'm wondering if most networks will be full of newscasts repeating the same info over and over instead of airing the scheduled shows tonight.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The part about Wendy fulfilling the "elimination" by having Taryn Manning's character drive with her was a surprise to me.

Again, the credits spoiled this for me -- Taryn Manning and Melanie Lynskey were both in them as regulars, so I knew one way or another both of them would survive.

I couldn't remember from the time the credits rolled to when the elimination thing went down.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

yeah. the only thing that really surprised me was Brian Bloom's pretty eyes staring at me from Tully's bathtub. everything else just jumped out at me.
